“Which leggings won’t slide down when I squat, and what bra do I actually need?”
These are the two questions I hear most. Get the bra and the leggings right and the rest is easy. Here’s how I choose, piece by piece.
- Match bra support to how much you bounce: mid support for lifting and most classes, high support for running and jumping.
- Pick high-waist leggings and do a deep squat in good light before you take the tags off.
- A loose tank over the bra keeps you cool and covered; a slim tee if you prefer sleeves.
- Shorts or bike shorts for hot cardio, and a light layer for cold AC and the commute.
Start with the bra
Support level is about movement, not size. Lifting, rowing and most gym classes need mid support. Running, skipping and box jumps need high support. Seamless bras are smooth under a fitted top and comfortable for long sessions.
Leggings that stay put
Two things stop leggings sliding down: a high, wide waistband and fabric with enough stretch to move with you. Seamless leggings are soft and have fewer seams to rub on long sessions.

The squat test: in good light, do a slow, deep squat facing away from a mirror and look back over your shoulder. If you can see through the fabric, or the waistband rolls down, they’re not your gym leggings.
Tops
A loose tank over your bra is the coolest option for hot sessions and gives coverage when you bend and lift. If you prefer sleeves, a slim-fit tee stays tidy without riding up.
Shorts for hot cardio
For spin, HIIT or a long treadmill session, shorts breathe better than full-length leggings. Short-length workout shorts are light and free; high-rise bike shorts stay in place and don’t ride up.
Layer for the AC and the drive
Most UAE gyms are cold inside and hot outside. A light sleeveless hoodie over your tank covers the warm-up and the walk to the car, then comes off once you’re moving.

Getting the size right
- Many of our women’s pieces come in paired sizes (XS/S, S/M, M/L), so each size fits a wider range.
- Between sizes in leggings? Size for your hips and thighs; the high waistband handles the rest.
- Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp with your height and usual size.

Questions people ask me
What support level sports bra do I need?
Mid support for lifting, rowing and most classes. High support for running, skipping and jumping. If you feel yourself holding on, go up a level.
How do I know if leggings are squat-proof?
Do a slow, deep squat in good light and look back over your shoulder. If you can see through them, or the waistband rolls down, they’re not right for the gym.
Are seamless leggings better?
They’re softer with fewer seams to rub, which many people prefer for long sessions. Regular leggings with a wide waistband work well too.
How should I wash gym leggings and bras?
Cold wash, inside out, no fabric softener, and air dry. Heat and softener break down stretch fabric faster.
What if I’m between sizes?
Check the size guide on each product page. Paired sizes like S/M cover a wider range. You can also message us on WhatsApp.
